  1. Kia ora Katene,

I really enjoyed reading your post about sleep. I have an eight year son named Aronui and I often wonder how much sleep he should be getting. I will definitely share what I have learned about sleep from reading your blog with Aronui.
If you are keen to continue learning, creating and sharing your learning with others over the summer, please join us on the Summer Learning Journey programme this year. It is a fun, free programme for students at Hornby Primary. This year we are going to be learning all about the environment in New Zealand – the amazing animals, plants, oceans, forests, etc. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful country, aren’t we? I hope that we can learn about it together over the break.

If you are able to join us, please log onto the Summer Learning Journey website on Monday 17 December to see our new programme. It will be online for you every day from Monday the 17th of December 2018 to Friday the 25th of January 2019. You can join us any time that you want to over the break. Our team will look forward to reading your work, sharing comments and awarding you points for participating!

Hope to see you online this summer 😊

    Cheers,
Rachel (and the Summer Learning Journey team)

2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
